Welcome to 2021... As interesting as the last year was, we were busier than ever. So I am going to introduce you to our herd, one animal at a time! Bear with me, this may take a while. We now have 75 alpacas and 6 llamas. So I decided to start at the top of the list- alphabetically. So...
Meet Acorn. Well technically, his name is Uta, which is Lakota for Acorn. He is kind of the color of an acorn. Acorn is 7 years old and due to some recurrent health problems, he has recently moved to the Lost Boys area. The Lost Boys area, as we affectionately call it, started out as our junior/ male weanling area. But it currently houses our deaf oldster, Ryan, our recovering Gaston , our ailing llama Jack and his apprentice, Goliath, along with the youngsters who are awaiting the right time to move in with the adult males.
Acorn has handled this transition with his usual good nature. He is a sweet boy with lovely reddish fiber. A single skein of his recent fiber in a 2 ply sport weight yarn was enough to make a soft, warm beanie.

We have been very busy settling in but we have finally done it. The move is complete. The
store is open. The mill is operating at full speed. The animals have adjusted well.
So for 2020, dryer balls. I know, I know, some of you already know I'm making dryer balls. A select few, I have made dryer balls for. After piloting that program for the last year, we are ready to move forward and offer that as a service in our mill. Send us your 2nds and 3rds and we will send it back to you as dryer balls. It really is that simple. We have worked have to perfect our process and provide a consistent quality every time. Dryer balls are baseball size and approximately 2oz finished and wet felted very firm. Your cost:$2.00 per ball. 
We also offer these dryer balls from our fiber at the wholesale cost of $2.75 each. buyer pays shipping.
This is a great way to use up those 2nds and 3rds.

After months of work, we are finally residents of Tennessee. Everything is finally on the new farm. Now we just need a little more time to be fully operational again. This has been a tremendous undertaking!
To all of our Wisconsin friends, family, customers and fellow alpaca farmers, we will be back to visit! All mill customers, thank you for your patience. We will be back up and running ASAP.
To all our new neighbors and customers, thank you for your very warm welcome and hospitality. We hope that we will be a blessing to the community...

Yes! We are hosting Alpaca Farm Days this year. Come have a tour, watch our demonstrations, learn about alpacas and have our delicious alpaca cookies! September 29 9-5 and Sept 30 12-4. Hope to see you then!

The end of February is coming soon. The last day our farm store will be open this season is Sunday February 26. We are vigorously working on developing new products for our next season this fall.
Spring is also coming soon. This means shearing season and new cria. Start making plans now for your fiber processing.
We will also be attending several alpaca shows starting in March. We will keep you updated on show results.

​     With another year under wraps, we are looking forward into this new year. Due to our limited time frame for the store ( we are only allowed to be open September through February), we are trying to make way for new yarn.
